No. All trading on Empowered Kapital uses simulated (virtual) money. No real financial transactions take place. The platform is an educational tool designed to teach disciplined investing through realistic market simulation.
There are 10 prestiges, each with 50 levels. You earn XP through trading, completing learning modules, and maintaining streaks. When you reach level 50, you can prestige — resetting your level and XP while keeping your portfolio, trades, and badges. Each prestige unlocks a new badge and title.
We simulate 13 global exchanges including LSE, NYSE, NASDAQ, Frankfurt, Shanghai, Tokyo, SIX Swiss, NSE India, TSX, ASX, Euronext, plus ETFs, commodities, and bonds — over 2,100 instruments in total. Prices are simulated and do not reflect real market data.
You can clear your browser's localStorage to fully reset all data — portfolio, XP, prestige, and badges. Go to your browser's Developer Tools → Application → Local Storage and clear all entries starting with "ek_". Alternatively, email us and we can guide you through the process.
Not yet — Empowered Kapital is currently a web-based platform optimised for desktop browsers. A mobile app is on our roadmap. The site is responsive and works on mobile browsers, but the full trading experience is best on desktop.
Broker API integration is a planned feature for qualified users who reach Prestige 10. This will allow you to connect a supported broker and execute real trades using the skills and discipline you've built on the platform. This feature is not yet live.
All portfolio, trading, and progression data is stored locally in your browser's localStorage. No personal trading data is sent to our servers. Email subscriptions and account credentials are the only data stored server-side.
Empowered Kapital works best on Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge (latest versions). We recommend a desktop or laptop for the full experience. Internet Explorer is not supported.
